Introduction
Lifebit is a scale-up Healthtech established in 2017 whose driving mission is to revolutionise bioinformatics and biomedical data analysis. Lifebit has grown fast since inception and received over $70m of Series B funding to further grow headcount, particularly in their agile software engineering teams, who are remotely based across the globe.
-
Difficulty in rapidly building skilled engineering teams in a competitive market, with a limited talent pool.
Limited brand recognition outside a niche audience, making it harder to attract the right candidates.
Need for a strong cultural fit and the right attitude, alongside effectively communicating Lifebit’s mission, values, culture, tech stack, remote-first working, and diversity to engage the right talent.
-
Collaborated with Lifebit’s HR and engineering teams to define the company’s EVP pillars and identify key behaviours for cultural fit.
Produced an EVP video with personal take-out shots for social media campaigns, supporting headhunting efforts for technical roles.
Developed a customisable Job Brochure to replace traditional job descriptions, keeping candidates engaged while aligning with Lifebit’s culture and values.
-
Over 25 global hires in difficult-to-fill roles, supporting proactive recruitment and executive search efforts, leading to stronger team integration.
Enhanced brand visibility and candidate engagement, particularly in competitive tech markets, resulting in better role understanding and higher application rates.
Improved retention by attracting candidates aligned with Lifebit’s values and culture, while streamlining the recruitment process for more efficient, high-quality hires.
