This a is a great opportunity for a self-motivated, confident, customer facing DevOps Specialist with a wide scope of DevOps knowledge and tools, familiar with cloud (AWS), to join a rapidly growing cloud and software services company, As DevOps Specialist, you will build complex, secure and scalable mission critical cloud-based solutions, acting as both DevOps Consultant, advising and consulting to clients and, hands-on DevOps Engineer when required. Circa £80k basic, 10% bonus and excellent benefits. Remote working with client visits when allowed (mainly London / South East).
You will be joining an organisation for many blue-chip clients in various industries including TV and Media, Fintech, IoT and Automotive, helping millions of people using their award-winning software solutions on a daily basis, helping customers to execute their cloud transformation strategy and working on a variety of different projects.
Key Role Guide for the DevOps Specialist:
* Responsible for the design, implementation and operations of backend or frontend products and inspire your team to build great software, share knowledge and find new ways to solve problems together.
* Act as the CI/CD expert, help the development teams automating as much of their work as possible, and are experienced in integrating everything in Cloud.
* Provide Consultancy to assist clients in building their DevOps Competency.
Key Skills / Attributes for the DevOps Specialist include:
* At least 3 years' experience as a DevOps Engineer working on a variety of projects
* Significant experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and Automated
Testing
* Excellent verbal and written / presentation communication skills
* A good understanding of security, scalability and resilience in software development
* Experience of defining, implementing, releasing and maintaining various microservices, both
back- and frontend based
* Experience in choosing technologies and structuring system architectures
* Enjoy understanding client requirements and working with client and internal teams to
develop world-leading DevOps competencies
* Presentation skills, communicating with peers and management.
